This is an improvement award that helps paddlers develop fundmental paddlesport skills on flat water. The emphasis is on gaining a breadth of experience, creating the desired movement of the boat and developing an understanding into how the paddle, boat and water interact.

Meet at the shop ready to paddle. We spend time in canoes and kayaks. We have a in depth individual debrief at the end.
Things To Bring
On the water, You Will Need:
Kayak & Canoe, Paddle, Sprayskirt, PFD. (we can provide if needed)
Sunglasses with retention device
Sunscreen, lip balm
Sun hat, rain hat, and/or fleece hat
Proper immersion wear for the weather, (we can provide if needed)
Water bottle
Lunch and snacks
Cancellation Policy
The Pacific Northwest is a dynamic and often unpredictable environment. All activities are run/fun rain or shine. All programs are conditions dependent and may change at any time at our discretion. In order to keep our programs affordable a minumum number of participants may be required. If we are unable to fill a program to a minimum requirement level we reserve the right to cancel the program. A full refund will be provided in the event of a cancelled or re-scheduled activity upon request. Please allow 48 hour notice for any cancellations or changes in your reservation.
